The BJY team checks the core drawing against the preform it must produce before any cutting starts. Wall thickness zones, shoulder geometry and the locating scheme all get looked over at that stage. The part is dimensionally inspected at the main stations after the metal work, and the working surface is polished to the mirror standard on the drawing. Straightness and concentricity get re-measured after the hardening step, and the part goes to packaging after that check.When a question comes up later, the record shows which step produced the number.
The mold core is packaged in a collision-resistant manner to ensure that no surface impacts occur after it is loaded into the case.A follow-up order for a spare runs on the same drawing, and the second core is inspected against the record of the first. If preform issues appear at the blow station, the BJY team looks at the core side of the problem with the customer's data, instead of assuming the fault sits elsewhere. In that call the supplier works from the inspection record, separates what the core data shows from what the process data shows, and sends the split back in writing.
