During the PET injection molding process, the Take-out Plate is subjected to continuous physical contact. Preforms, which are still warm and relatively soft, are pushed into the tube at high speed, held by vacuum, and then ejected. After thousands of cycles, this friction can gradually wear the inner surface of the tube. For the 51.2*166 specification, BJY uses advanced surface engineering treatment—specifically, hard anodizing—to address this wear and maintain the integrity of the preform surface.
The hardness of the treatment we use is even higher than that of some tools commonly used for equipment maintenance. For beverage production plants, this means that the inside of the tube can remain smooth and resist the abrasion caused by PET dust that inevitably occurs during production. If scratches appear on the inner surface of the tube, these marks may be transferred to the surface of every preform, resulting in visible defects in the final bottle. By maintaining a mirror-smooth and high-hardness surface, BJY ensures that preform clarity is not affected.
Chemical resistance is the second important aspect of our surface engineering. Cooling water in beverage plants is rarely pure water. It often contains minerals, corrosion inhibitors, or other chemical additives, which may corrode standard aluminum alloys. Our hard-anodized layer acts as a chemical barrier to prevent oxidation and pitting, which could otherwise affect the precision-machined water channels. This helps ensure that the heat transfer efficiency of the 51.2*166 specification tube does not gradually decrease over time due to scale buildup or surface corrosion. It is a component designed for the actual operating environment of industrial cooling water systems, allowing for long-term stable use after installation.
For procurement managers, the return on investment provided by BJY's surface treatment is clear. Even avoiding just one day's worth of quality-related scrap may generate enough savings to cover the cost difference between a standard tube and a BJY hard-anodized tube. We focus on the material and metallurgical details that affect the actual performance of the component, helping keep your production line running steadily. By choosing our tube, you are choosing a component that is physically capable of handling the friction, heat, and chemical environment of a modern beverage packaging production line.
