The take-out plate is often the least discussed part of a preform mold package, yet it plays a direct role in how quickly and how consistently preforms can be pulled from a 96-cavity tool. BJY supplies its PCO1881 21.5g preform mold together with a purpose-built take-out plate (EOAT) featuring a multi-stage cooling layout, designed for Husky HyPET series machines rather than adapted from an unrelated cavity count.
Designing the mold and the take-out plate as one system, instead of pairing a mold with a generic third-party EOAT, allows BJY to size the cooling channels, air paths and vacuum layout specifically around the 96-cavity geometry and the 21.5g preform mass being handled.
